WHO?
Clean Slate Education was founded in 2015 by Kate Adams, an experienced, internationally qualified educator and passionate advocate for open, honest sexual health education.
Kate graduated from the University of Exeter, UK in 2007, achieved her Qualified Teacher status in Surrey, UK in 2008 and spend the first 6 years of her career in London, United Kingdom before relocating to Austin, Texas with her husband in January 2014.
In London Kate worked primarily as a High School Teacher, working along side the International Planned Parenthood Federation and Marie Stopes international to develop comprehensive Sexual Health curriculums for London students. She also worked in a voluntary capacity with The Poppy Project, a small non-profit helping women move on from professional sex work.

Once in Texas she spent a year working with a local non-profit delivering sexual health education sessions in Prisons, Schools, Colleges and Probation centres. During this time she identified a real need for high quality open discussion about relationships and the legal, ethical and emotional elements of sexual behaviour.
Clean Slate Education was born from a desire to fill this gap by offering an intensive workshop combining clear explanation and examples, role plays of different scenarios, open honest conversation and advice for situations that young people often find themselves in, as well as ways to make sure that they keep their record and conscience clear.
